This commission is the main Stream of commission in Army and also having the variety of choice for normal entry in the Corps of Officers.

Applications are invited through National Daily News Papers, Radio and TV advertisement by 1st week of March and September of each year or as decided by Army Headquarters. The last date of submission of application forms are normaly are 15 April and 15 October or as specified in the advertisement. Cadet College/Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) Cadets are require to apply through respective College/Regiment

Application forms may be obtained from the following places/offices on submission of Bank Draft/Pay Order of Tk. 200 (Taka Two Hundred Only) (non-refundable) from any branch of Sonali, Rupali, Agrani and Janata Bank in favour of Army Headquarters, Adjutant General Branch, Personnel Administration Directorate, Dhaka Cantonment:

Submission of Application
Preliminary Application Form, three copy 4cm x 4cm photographs to be submitted to the same place from where application was collected. No photocopy of certificates to be submitted with the forms.
Preliminary Selection Board
• Preliminary Selection comprises of Preliminary Medical Test and Interview on General Knowledge and Communication Skill. The examination is held at Dhaka, Bogra, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chittagong, Comilla, Jalalabad (Sylhet), Jessore, Jahanabad (Khulna), Rangpur, and Saidpur (Nilphamari) Cantonment.
• Candidates are required to present following certificates to the Preliminary Selection Board during interview:

Original/Provisional educational certificate of SSC/HSC or equivalent and Marks Sheets/Academic Transcript (Certificates must be issued by the concerned education board). |

Nationality Certificate from Chairman Union Parishad/ Chairman Paurashava /Ward Commissioner. |

Preliminary Interview Card issued by Army Headquarters. |

Certificate from Commanding Officer/Branch/Departmental heads for services personnel. |
Written Examination: Candidates qualified in Preliminary Selection will appear Written Examination on Bengali, English, General Mathematics and General Knowledge.
Test/Interview by ISSB: Candidates qualified in Written Examination will appear before ISSB at Dhaka Cantonment. For ISSB test candidates must know how to swim.
Final Medical Examination: Candidates selected by ISSB will report to Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka Cantonment for Final Medical Examination.
Final Selection. Final Selection will be made by the Personnel Administration Directorate, Adjutant General Branch, Army Headquarters, Dhaka Cantonment.
Cadets will undergo 100/150 weeks training at recpective Military Acadamy (BMA/BNA/BAFA). On successful completion of training, Cadets will be granted Regular Commission as second lieutenant with effect from the day of passing out. Cadets will be awarded B.A/B.Sc degree under National University depending upon their academic performance/result.

Eligibility:
This type of commission is primarily designed to grant commission to candidates of special professional group like education, medical, veterinary, law graduates and psychologist or any other group.
Age.
Maximum 28 Years. Affidavit is NOT accepted.

Army Education Corps (Judge Advocate General Department/Psychologist). Will be granted commission directly to the rank of Lieutenant with anti date seniority.
